Phase 1 of the 140th Canton Fair closed on 19 October, and our stand was busy from open to close. Luoyang Shuaiying Trading Co., Ltd. showed five lines — motorized and electric cargo tricycles, passenger tricycles in both drivetrains, and ATV — but the motorized cargo tricycle did most of the talking. Buyers were not hunting the cheapest quotation. They wanted a machine that survives five years of daily loading — and proof of it.
Nobody opened with price
Dealers asked about payload, chassis thickness, brakes, spare-part supply and how the engine climbs steep roads. Several inspected the cargo bed by hand, then asked where the factory was. Service drew the most praise: straight answers, realistic lead times, no hard sell. Many visitors asked to see our plant in Luoyang, so we now run a standing visit schedule, and some buyers ordered on the spot rather than wait for a second quotation.
Choose motorized when
Fuel is easier to find than grid power, routes are long or hilly, and daily loads are heavy. A motorized cargo tricycle refuels in minutes, tolerates rough roads and keeps working where charging infrastructure is thin. That is why it stays our best-selling export model.
Choose electric when
Runs are short and repeatable — city distribution, market shuttles, campus and warehouse work — and electricity is cheap and reliable. Electric cargo tricycles cost less per kilometre and need less maintenance, but battery quality decides everything.
Ask every supplier five things
Payload on real roads, not on the spec sheet. Chassis and axle steel thickness. Brake type and spare-part availability. Warranty terms in writing. Lead time after deposit.
